A Little About Me

I recently sold and stepped away from a professional services firm inside a top platform vendor ecosystem. That means I'm free from the owner/operator blind spots — and well positioned to help others in the seat I just left.

My focus is supporting owners and operators before (or alongside) their engagement with an investment banker. For services firms and software companies built around a distinct business need, preparing for sale isn't intuitive, and bankers aren't entirely incentivized to do the prep work. That's the gap I fill.

I work across every element of the operating model — GTM, sales, marketing, and crafting a differentiated story within the ecosystem where my clients compete. The irony isn't lost on me: the firms I advise are the same ones helping clients navigate "the future of work." I help them navigate their own.

For 25+ years, I've advised marketing leaders and deployed workflow solutions for organizations trying to get more from their marketing operations. I write about the intersection of marketing technology, workflow design, and the operating-model shifts agentic AI is now forcing on both.

What I'm thinking about

How services firms and ISVs tied to platform vendors will evolve — drawn from building a modest services firm of my own.

What the next evolutions look like for the future of work — drawn from a career in work management technology.
